The PhD Students’ Committee

The laboratory pays close attention to the working conditions, integration and scientific development of its PhD students. With this in mind, a new PhD Students’ Committee (CODO) was recently set up.

The CODO comprises representatives from both doctoral schools, a representative of the PhD students and an administrative officer.

The aim is to provide regular monitoring and support for the research carried out by PhD students.

CODO’s remit covers the’group support and the training follow-up through the research carried out by PhD students, the’animation scientific exchanges, the’integration, the discussion and the visibility Master’s dissertations and PhD theses, the professionalisation or access to funding additional.

The CODO also ensures that compliance with the regulatory framework governing doctoral supervision :

• One CSI per year for each PhD student.
• The mandatory presence of an expert from outside LEST.
• Arrangements for the compulsory pre-defence for ED 372.
