Our partnerships
The scientific activities of the Laboratory for the Economics and Sociology of Work (LEST) are based on numerous scientific and institutional collaborations, in France and abroad.
These partnerships take the form of joint research projects, by collective publications, by international comparisons, by joint supervision of PhD students and the organisation of’scientific events. They help to strengthen the interdisciplinary and comparative dimension the work carried out in the laboratory.
LEST is affiliated centre of the Céreq. This scientific collaboration focuses in particular on the analysis of trends in employment, qualifications and career paths, in connection with changes in the nature of work and in labour markets.
Members of the laboratory are also involved in several international scientific networks (EMES, Worknet, etc.), thereby facilitating international comparisons of changes in the world of work and in contemporary societies.
Finally, the laboratory is developing partnerships with several institutes and international scientific cooperation schemes, such as the French House in Oxford, the’French School in Rome, the Centre for Mexican and Central American Studies (CEMCA) or the Maison France–Federal University of Pará (UFPA) in Brazil. These partnerships contribute to the development of research projects, doctoral collaborations, academic mobility and international exchanges, in conjunction with the networks of the CNRS, Aix-Marseille University and their partners.
