Launched by the Regional Education Authority, the Teaching and Research Staff Meetings enable teachers from primary schools, lower secondary schools, upper secondary schools and preparatory classes for the grandes écoles to spend a day exploring a research laboratory and engaging directly with its researchers.
As a regular partner in this initiative, LEST will once again welcome teachers from the French national education system to its premises. This day will provide an opportunity to to introduce the laboratory, how it operates and its research activities, and then to find out about the various projects undertaken by its members and to discuss ongoing research.
These meetings help to strengthen ties between research and teaching and to promote the dissemination of scientific knowledge amongst the educational community.
