Mounayad Ali Saadi is a PhD student in the sociology of education at LEST (UMR 7317, CNRS / Aix-Marseille University) and within AMPIRIC, under the supervision of Thierry Berthet and Patrick Perez. His thesis, entitled «The construction of the educational provision in lower secondary schools: actors, regulations and the construction of pupils» educational pathways”, is based on a longitudinal study of a cohort of 571 pupils attending four contrasting lower secondary schools between 2022 and 2025. By combining administrative data, institutional observation and interviews, he examines how schools construct and allocate educational resources, and how these organisational logics shape pupils’ educational pathways.
