The Laboratory for the Economics and Sociology of Work (LEST) conducts interdisciplinary, rigorous and socially engaged research to shed light on changes in the world of work, organisations and societies. Our work is structured around three main areas, which explore contemporary challenges through innovative approaches grounded in reality.

The COT research area examines changes in work and organisations in the face of social, environmental and technical challenges.
Youth, Education, Mobility
The JEM research area examines how young people are coping with changes in the world of work, mobility and knowledge, and how these transformations are reshaping inequalities.
Risks, Standards, Industrial Relations
The RINOREP research area examines changes in organisations, management standards and public policy that govern labour relations and working conditions.
