PhD supervision

The LEST doctoral programme is based on academic and collective support provided by thesis supervisors, the doctoral committee and the affiliated doctoral schools. Doctoral students benefit from regular monitoring of their work, opportunities for academic discussion and support with administrative procedures, career development and the dissemination of their research.

International mobility

The LEST welcomes PhD students funded through various schemes: doctoral contracts, CIFRE agreements, research projects or institutional funding. The laboratory also encourages an international outlook in doctoral programmes through scientific collaborations, research mobility schemes and by hosting foreign researchers.

Research Master’s degrees

The LEST is involved in several Master’s programmes at Aix-Marseille University that prepare students for doctoral study.
