As a socio-economist, I am affiliated with LEST-CNRS at Aix-Marseille University in France and Doshisha University in Japan. I consider myself to be a comparatist because my analyses are based on international comparisons, particularly between Japan and France. My research covers the following areas: science and technology, skills and training, work and mobility, wages and corporate governance, professions and careers, the family and the labour market, and gender issues.
